All meals are vegan – let us know if you have any dietary needs we should be mindful of. Himmelbjerggården is located on Himmelbjerget just outside Ry. There are supermarkets in Ry and Gl. Rye a few kilometers away from the venue.
We will be in the building called "Bine’s hjem” and the surrounding area where there is a lake, woods, camp facilities, herb garden, fire places and a lot of nature to explore. If you have booked a tent pitch, this is where you will be staying. You can also look up alternative accommodation in Gl. Rye or Ry on AirBnb.
We have put up a large tent for our plenary sessions and we hope the weather will be with us, so we can be outside most of the time (although we also have the option of going indoors). So bring clothes to keep warm – the average temperatuge for June is 18-21°C during the day and 9-12°C over the night.
To get to Himmelbjerggården with public transport, you can take the train to Ry St. and get FlexTrafik from there. If you are arriving from Billund Airport, you can take bus 912X to Skanderborg and take the train from there. Let us know if you need help getting here.

Your hosts for the conference are Jeppe Graugaard, Trine Rytter Andersen and Martin Krayer von Krauss backed by a team of volunteer fire souls and organizers. In the spirit of co-creation, we ask participants to take part in the practical tasks related to meals and other logistical arrangements during the gathering.
The conference is made possible with funding from Folkesparekassens Fond and the Nordic Council of Ministers’ funding program Demos as well as generous backing from Himmelbjerggården.
We have set up a WhatsApp group for participants where we can share information, ask questions and organize transport. Still have questions? Get in touch.
